An extra large gold deposit discovered in Tongbai Mountain, Henan Province, with gold content of nearly 105 tons, can be excavated for 80 years

According to the Voice of China's Yangguang News, the Department of Land and Resources of Henan Province found a huge gold mine in the deep and peripheral survey project of Laowan Gold Mine in Tongbai County, Tongbai Mountain Area, Henan Province, with a gold content of nearly 105 tons, which can be excavated for 80 years.
The extra large gold deposit was discovered in the middle of September this year when the Department of Land and Resources of Henan Province organized experts to conduct a bulk exploration of Tongbai gold silver polymetallic mine. The gold mine is located in the deep and periphery of the Laowan Gold Mine in Tongbai County, Tongbai Mountain. The newly issued cash resource is estimated to be 104960 kg, and the associated silver resource is estimated to be 122038 kg. In addition to the discovery of super large gold deposits, a large number of natural alkali, lead and zinc mineral resources have also been discovered.
According to reports, Tongbai Mountain Range is located in the west of the mountains in southern Henan. The Tongbai area gold and silver polymetallic ore exploration area is located at the north foot of Tongbai Mountain in Henan Province. The administrative division is subordinate to Tongbai County, Tanghe County and Biyang County, with an area of 1649 square kilometers. It is the third batch of integrated exploration areas approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources in 2013. According to the WeChat "Gold Miner" of China Gold News, up to now, only 80 million yuan has been invested in the exploration of this mega gold mine project, 80 boreholes have been drilled and 50000 meters have been drilled, 84 gold ore bodies have been controlled, 100 tons of gold has been added, the service life of the mine has been extended for 80 years, and the potential economic value is 25 billion yuan. At present, the First Geological Exploration Institute of Henan Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources predicts that the gold prospecting potential in this area can reach 200-500 tons, and the silver is expected to be 5000 tons. This area will become another important gold exploration base in Henan Province after Xiaoqinling and Waifangshan.
